An Extraordinary Leadership Opportunity

Under the extraordinary leadership of TCNJ’s fifteenth president, Dr. R. Barbara Gitenstein, The College of New Jersey has established itself as a national exemplar of public higher education. During her tenure, it has enhanced academic rigor, provided for increased faculty-student engagement, expanded its physical plant and successfully completed the institution’s first comprehensive fundraising campaign. Following her July announcement that she will retire in June 2018 after more than 19 years of service, the Board of Trustees launched a search for the college’s sixteenth president. The College of New Jersey seeks an experienced leader with energy, vision and a commitment to the institution’s mission and values. S/he will join a diverse, inclusive and collaborative community of faculty and staff, who are committed to delivering a student-centered experience and advancing the institution as guided by its strategic plan, TCNJ 2021: Bolder, Better, Brighter.
